A mouthwatering delicacy that simply melts is your mouth. The combination of besan with sugar and ghee, loads this dish with enough energy to satiate hunger pangs and help overcome fatigue. Have one piece and you will feel recharged.

Cooking Time : 15 mins.
Preparation Time : 10 mins.

Makes 10 pieces.

1/3 cup ghee
1 cup Bengal gram flour (besan)
½ cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon cardamom (elaichi)powder
a pinch nutmeg(jaiphal) powder
1 tablespoon slivered almond (badam)
1. Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan and add the besan when the ghee melts.
2. Cook them together over a slow flame stirring continuously till the besan is golden brown.
3. Remove from the flame and transfer into a bowl. Allow it to cool completely.
4. Add the sugar, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and mix well using your hands.
5. Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape each portion into round laddoos.
6. Garnish with the almonds and store in an air-tight container.
