Pizza topping

A line-up of bread boats. Fill them up with toppings of your choice.

Cooking Time : 20 min.
Preparation Time : 15 min.

Makes 6 rolls.

6 hot dog rolls or 6 brown bread buns

1 tablespoon butter
500 grams red tomatoes
3 onion, chopped
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
2 pinches oregano
1 tablespoon oil
salt to taste
For the topping
1 capsicum, sliced
3 tablespoons grated cheese
1. Slit each roll horizontally. Butter lightly.
2. Put the tomatoes in hot water for a few minutes. Take out the skin and chop.
3. Heat the oil and add the onions and crushed garlic. Fry for 2 minutes.
4. Add the tomatoes, sugar, chilli powder, oregano and salt and cook for 10 minutes.
5. To proceed, spread the pizza sauce on the inside of the roll and decorate with the capsicum slices.
6. Sprinkle the cheese and grill in a hot oven at 200 degree C (400 degree F) for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
