Spicy potato and chana salad

High in B vitamins, this dish is a perfect healthy way to satisfy your craving for spicy foods.

Cooking Time : 15 mins.
Preparation Time : 10 mins.

Serves 4.

Ingredients
1 cup potatoes, boiled and cut into small dices
½ cup chick peas (Kabuli chana), soaked overnight
1 cup tomatoes, cut into small dices
For the masala
3 to 4 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
2 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp oil
1 tbsp chopped coriander
salt to taste
For the garnish
1 cup onions, sliced
1 cup tomatoes, sliced
a few mint leaves
Method
1. Cook the chick peas in a pressure cooker for approx. 15 minutes till they are tender. Drain and keep aside.
2. Mix the lemon juice, cumin powder, chaat masala, coriander and salt.
3. Add the potatoes and chick peas, mix well and refrigerate.
4. Garnish with the tomatoes, onion slices and mint leaves and serve chilled.
