Date and walnut football

This is a completely fuss-free delicacy, not too high in calories as this delicacy is completely devoid of sugar. Instead dates have been added, as they contain plenty of fibre and natural sugar, while walnuts are rich in linoleic acid which have been proven to be helpful to strengthen the arteries of the heart.

Prepartion Time : a few mins.
Cooking Time : Nil.

Makes 8 footballs.

½ cup black seedless dates
2 tablespoons walnuts, toasted
¼ teaspoon cardamom (elaichi) powder
1. Knead the dates into a smooth dough.
2. Add the walnuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
3. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape into balls.
4. Serve at room temperature.
